5. Cookies and tracking technology
The website and our service providers may use cookies, tracking scripts, tags, and other similar technologies to analyze the use of our website, improve the site, understand how visitors use different pages and features, measure the effectiveness of marketing, and, in some cases, link a website visit to a contact or a company in our CRM system. Where required by law, such processing will only take place after you have provided your consent.
5.1 Cookies
A cookie is a small text file sent by a website to your computer or mobile device, where it is then stored in your browser. A cookie contains limited data, usually a unique identifier and the name of the website. This allows a website to recognize you as you navigate the site and whenever you return. Cookies are used for many different purposes, such as keeping you logged in, remembering your choices and settings, analyzing how you use the website, and enabling certain statistics and market tracking. Cookies may be created by the website you visit or by another organization that provides services to that website, such as an analytics tool for visitor statistics. They can either be stored during your visit—a so-called session cookie—or stored on your device for a certain period to recognize you upon return visits.
On our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by, among others, Microsoft Clarity, Google services connected via Site Kit by Google, and Upsale’s tracking code, to the extent that these services are enabled and configured on the website. These tools may be used to collect information such as page views, traffic sources, user behavior, interactions, technical information about devices and browsers, and information about how visitors found or use the website. Upsales’ tracking code may also be used to track how contacts and companies interact with the website, as well as for retargeting and CRM follow-up.
Metricool is used to track website visits and page views. According to the provider’s information, Metricool’s visitor tracker does not use cookies for this function, but rather JavaScript that sends anonymous and aggregated statistics without storing IP addresses or placing unique identifiers on the visitor’s device.
5.1.1 Managing Cookies
You can easily choose how cookies are handled through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting all cookies. Please note that if you choose to block cookies, our services and website may stop working properly. Every browser is different, so use the “Help” menu in your browser to learn how to change your cookie settings. If we use a consent banner on the website, you can also use it to change or withdraw your consent for the categories of cookies and tracking technologies that are not necessary.
6. Updates
This policy may be updated, and you should check it periodically for updates. If we make any significant changes to the policy, a notice will be posted on our website. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page.
